A Message from Family Trails
One of the things we've heard over and over from the Trails community is how every adventure leads to something new: a new memory, a new learning opportunity, some new inspiration for the next great adventure.
Koch Family: Wildlife Refuge
I try to take my children outdoors every day. I am a stay-at-home mom of 20-month-old identical twin girls and a four-year-old boy. We love getting out in nature, especially here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. But let's be honest, I can lose my mind being cooped up in a house all day with three little kids!
Daley Family: Moving Together

Family Trails Tales: November Round Up
We set out during November to ask families what adventure they were most thankful for this year, and why!
McCasland Family - Durbin Rocket
My father-in-law, a kind and gentle man with one heck of a mustache, worked many years as a coal miner in West Virginia. My children love to hear stories about the old coalmines and how their Pappy spent so much of his time underground digging up the coal that fuels the old trains and produces 99% of our state's electricity.
Tatum Family - Apple Orchard
Since the birth of our daughter, Akilah, Jaxon has taken a seat on the sidelines as the baby of the house. He is now the middle child, typically the one who gets lost among the oldest and youngest children. We have no qualms about Jaxon becoming the "middle child," for we have his gregarious personality to thank.
