In light of National Random Acts of Kindness Day (February 17th), we're challenging our #FamilyTrails community spread a little love this month.
Our theme for February is "Random Acts of Kindness" and the hashtag is #FT_RAOK. Read on for more details on how to participate.
Small acts can have a big impact, and there's a whole lot to be learned from kindness.
How will your family share the love this month? Gather your little ones and brainstorm ideas together.
Take this opportunity to have a conversation about compassion, the beauty of benevolence, and the importance of respect. Explore the joy of giving together as a family, and experience the power of little acts of love. Now THAT's what we call an adventure.
Whether you're volunteering, cleaning up litter at a local park or doing something thoughtful for a neighbor in need, join the movement to cover our communities with kindness. Share your experience with us on Instagram by using #FT_RAOK.
We pick four participants each month to receive FamilyTrails swag. Each swag recipient will be announced on Thursdays during the theme period. We will then feature a round up on our blog at the end of the month.
The most IMPORTANT part: in order to be considered to win, you must follow the new instructions written below.
Instructions:
1.) Post your theme photo from a public account between the first of the month and 11:59pm EST on the 22nd of the month. There is no limit to the number of entries each account can share and tag.
2.) Use #FT_ROAK and #FamilyTrails in your original caption.
3.) In your caption, include a few sentences explaining how your photo relates to the theme.
You must follow the above rules to qualify for the prize. Swag recipients will be chosen based on the post's adherence to the aforementioned rules, image quality, caption quality, and overall creativity.
