The holidays are here, and we're challenging our #FamilyTrails community to take a different approach on adventure by getting crafty with their kids.
Our theme for December is "Handmade" and the hashtag is #FT_Handmade. Read on for more details on how to participate.
Explore the experience of making something together! Whether it's coloring books or clay, painting or Play-Doh, gather your little ones and get creative. Then share your experience with us on Instagram by using #FT_Handmade.
Because we have been happily overwhelmed with the quality of submissions, we pick four participants each month to receive FamilyTrails swag. Each swag recipient will be announced on Thursdays during the theme period. We will then feature a round up on our blog at the end of the month.
The most IMPORTANT part: in order to be considered to win, you must follow the new instructions written below.
Instructions:
1.) Post your theme photo from a public account between Thursday, December 1st and 11:59pm EST on Tuesday, December 27th 2016. There is no limit to the number of entries each account can share and tag.
2.) Use #FT_Handmade and #FamilyTrails in your original caption and tag @FamilyTrails in the photo.
3.) In your caption, include a few sentences explaining how your photo relates to the theme.
You must follow the above rules to qualify for the prize. Swag recipients will be chosen based on the post's adherence to the aforementioned rules, image quality, caption quality, and overall creativity.
