We are a family of 5 and a dog that left the suburbs of DC in search of adventure and a less expensive place to live. We bought an RV and have been travelling the US for a year (holy smokes!) in 337 sq.ft. learning, loving and laughing with a whole lotta tears mixed in. Let's be real-- 300 sq.ft. doesn't give us a lot of breathing room! I hope you'll join us as we share our adventures exploring the ins and outs of the U S of A. We enjoy meeting new people, getting to know new cities, trying new foods, spending time in water-- beaches or lakes (we don't discriminate), going to National Parks, hiking, biking, eating ice cream and one can't forget drinking (juice boxes for the kids, of course and beer/wine for the adults-- as we enjoy breweries and wineries, too!).

We all need balance in life. We need it in our everyday lives, with family, friends, and even on vacation! September marked one year of full-time RVing for our family. We're calling it our RV-versary.

It's easy to get caught up in the "go-go-go" and planning of a life of travel. I definitely do, as the planner in the family.

Have you ever seen Finding Nemo? Silly question, I know. Do you know that part in the movie where Dory keeps saying, "Just keep swimming! Just keep swimming!" over and over? I hope so. Switch out swimming with walking and that is our hiking motto.
